Poppy + Ted began as a dining table idea in 2018. Just a girl (Paige), her dog (Ted) and her late nan's sewing machine - what began as "just a hobby" turned into the trusted dog brand Poppy + Ted is known and loved for today.

In the beginning, every item was single handedly sewn to order. Working every hour under the sun (and more), the business grew organically right in front of our audience as we documented our growth via social media.

One thing that's never changed is our listening to customer feedback, to truly understand the wants and needs of every dog owner. This paired with sheer hard work, determination and a true passion for dogs enabled us to reinvest every penny in those early years to begin manufacturing our designs at scale - so that we could cater for our 245K+ (and growing) worldwide community members of dog lovers.  

Fast-forward to 2025, Poppy + Ted was acquired by Vale Pet Foods to position ourselves as a leader in all things dog care, not just accessories. As huge advocates for dogs, ensuring their wellbeing is at the forefront of our minds in everything we do to help current and future dog owners.

So no matter what stage of the journey a dog owner is at (from new puppy, first time rescue or even a seasoned and experienced dog owner), Vale as a group led by our Co-Founders and Master Professional Dog Trainers, (Luke and Mairi) can support all stages of the journey with their knowledge and advice.
